.
Long story short,
when no one knows who your costume is, b/c it's too old for them, that's when you need to call it quits for Halloween. We would tell people, "we're She-ra and He-man," and they would say "who?" or "Oh...." It was pretty awful. We also left the apt to go to the big block party, and ended up stuck outside some road blocks with police around them preventing any possible fun from happening and preventing us from going home. They told us absolutely no one was allowed in, even if we lived there, and that there would be no party, and that we would not be allowed in until they felt like it. Needless to say, we were a little bit cold and got stuck in a lousy bar for several hours before we eventually climbed through a hole in the fence at Jack in the Box at 2am to go home.
The rest of the week was spent looking for jobs and looking for housing, neither of which we found.
I gotta kick it in high gear this week b/c the board meeting is next Monday, so here's some pictures, enjoy. The best is with "nick nolte"

i can't believe she-ra's legacy is being forgotten. what the heck!!?!?
the costumes looked amazing!
You two look so cute. I'm astonished the younger crowd is that far removed from the big names of our childhood. Yikes! I didn't think we were that old.
i am in shock. how can that be possible? she-ra rocks!
They don't know what they're missing, that's all I'm going to say. :D You were missed!
